  5. LATE REGISTRATION
All applications received after this time will be assessed a late fee of $25.  Registration on the first day or night of class is limited to classes not already full and will only be accepted if pre-approved by the Jim Swimme, MDTC Registration Chair.
  6. Allocation of available class slots:  Effective Session 1 2019: The Board of Directors has changed the allocation of class slots between members and non-members will be a division of half of the class CAP, increasing the probability a member will gain a slot they request.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE CHANGE:
Half of the CAP will be reserved for members.  The remaining half is for non-members. Any member paying $95 will be assigned a non-member slot but WILL NOT bump another member. We will maintain separate “waiting lists” for members and non-members after the class limits are reached and, if the non-member allotment does not fill, additional members will be assigned slots after closing of registration.

When you submit an application, slots will be assigned by the same “First come first serve” basis as in the past with the exception of the above rule change. This means that we will not be sending out receipts for some slots until after registration closes. I will send you an e mail as soon as possible when I know you are placed on the waiting list for a class. If you are on the waiting list and do get a slot in a class, you will receive a receipt via e mail as soon after closing as possible and always before the first class meeting.
Due to the high probability that you will get a slot in some classes and be on the waiting list for others, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide separate checks for each class.
